Screen Printing

Reflective & Glow Effects.

Visibility-led finishes: silver and rainbow reflective inks, plus glow-in-the-dark systems.

What it covers

Inside this family.

Each technique below is a separate decision on a tech pack. They are grouped here because they share a process, not because they are interchangeable.

  • Reflective inks in silver and specialised rainbow reflective
  • Glow-in-the-dark prints that charge in light and release in the dark
  • Light, heat and water-sensitive colour-change inks

Techniques

How each one behaves.

Retroreflective Transfers

A transfer containing glass beads that return light towards its source. In ordinary daylight it reads as a flat grey mark. Under a direct beam it flares silver-white, which is why it is photographed twice.

Glow in the Dark

A phosphorescent ink that absorbs light and releases it slowly in darkness. The glow is soft edged and uneven by nature, and it fades as the charge is spent, so the artwork is drawn to stay recognisable as the light drops.
